Recently my company bought a couple of new Dell laptops all running windows 8.1 64bit OS. I have a 12TB Western Digital Sentinel DX4000 NAS/Server that is having issues. I have tried combinations of both, all of the same and. I have tried the old firmware 01-05-14-18 and the newer 1-7-6-21, the drives I am using are WD2000F9MZ-76NVPL0 and WD2009FYPX-09AAMB0, both types which are listed as used by the device. I have got Windows Storage Server 2008 running on a WD Sentinel DX4000. I am having a small problem with my WD Sentinel.It keeps rejecting the drives as bad storage.
